Family

The Homestay is owned and run by teacher couples Dr Chacko and Salimma belong to Syrian Christian community and are based at Moncompu for five generations now. The local Catholic Church was built by their grandparents in the year1958. The family is basically farmers by tradition. but the couple chosen teaching also as major activity. Dr Chacko is a Professor in Pharmacy working as the Principal of a Pharmacy College near by. Wife Salimma is a retired teacher in chemistry and now more involved in homestay management, baking and gardening. They are blessed with two daughters the elder Anjaly Raisa is an architect & the second Amitha Eliza is an IT professional both married and settled. The youngest is the son Arun Joseph, presently in hospitality industry, UK.
